  1. Ive got one 6gb version i think which is more than enough music to keep me going through work. its actually really good - when i was looking i was deciding between getting that 160gb or whatever it is beast or the ipod touch. I thought that the bigger version (non touch) Would have been easier to handle and navigate on; but its actually not. Its so easy to use the ipod touch and its really nicely designed, its tilt-sensative so when you tilt your ipod on its side and you have the music track up, it shows all the album covers and you can flick through them like an actual cd collection - its nice touches like this that make the ipod touch well worth the money. Also When you are listening to music - it has a feature to lock itself after 30 seconds of no use and then the music obviously carrys on playing. Its only sensative to touch from actually skin as well (so pens and crap wont work on it, or if you have it in your pocket etc.) Dunno how it works maybe electrical resistance the body gives or some crap. PLUS, you can buy music on the go, using the i-tunes service as well as browse you-tube and use the internet when your at home or near an internet transmitter :) Anyway hope this helps your decision in getting one.
  2. No, I think that's just people getting used to it for pete's sake. I love mine, the wireless internet connection is tops. TOPS.
  3. Yes, Got a Touch, its the nuts!!!

It also has a hold button once you have selected the album/song you want, just click the power button once and it will put the touch in hold motion so that should you touch it, nothing will happen until you click again and even then you have to slide the button across before it goes back into the current song.

I personally think its is the best MP3/4 player on the market today, unless you want a phone that does the same thing and more, then the Iphone is better.

I have the 16gb version and that holds enough photos, video and music for my liking!!!

    I LOVE IT
  4. i have one and no it doesn't you could press the top button and it will lock

but get a case for it cause the back scratches easily
  5. i have one and no it doesnt change easily. the touch screen only recognizes fingertips so it doesn't get affected by like bumping it or something.

I love mine, I think it is one of the best apple products i've ever purchased. =]
  6. No it doesnt change songs easily just by touching it. Press down the top button and your screen will lock. YOu can still listen to your music and just double tap the home button to bring up music controls without unlocking it. If you want to unlock it, just press the button again and slide the bar to unlock. it is really simple. This is the best ipod out by far, and if you want to buy a new ipod, definitely consider this one. The web browser is so sweet and it is really hard to accidentally tap and change the screen your on. hope this helps.
  7. nopee you can press the off button and it wont do anything and the music will still play!

I think it is the BEST ipod so far.
  8. Mine works just fine and I love it!

The only way I can see it changing songs is a. if it is defective and b. if you double-tap the home button, it brings up the song controls.

    Hope that helps!
  9. i have a touch, its a bit different getting use to it at first, but after a while, you will get use to it. as to you question will you change a song when you touch it, it does not. just get into the habit of pressing the sleep/wake button.

i think the touch is fantastic, but i would recommend waiting until the 2nd gen touch comes out, as there are still a few bugs in it. have you considered getting the iphone? its the same as a touch but a phone as well.

if you want a touch now, try a few out and see if it is for you. read some reviews, i recommend cnet.com.au.

    good luck
