iPod Remote

Are the system requirements for the Ipod touch and Ipod classic 6 generation the same ?

I have a Ipod Classic , and it functions fine . However , I just bought a touch and it the computer does not recognize it. Neither does Itunes. Does this have something to do with the touch itself , or my computer? Any help will be appreciated.

1. Try putting the iPod touch into a different USB hub. Or restart your iPod touch by holding the Home Button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time. Good Luck!
