How to keep iPod touch from switching to music player when i plug in speakers?

When i plug in speakers, or plug the iPod touch to my radio dock, it always auto switches to the music player. Is there a way to make it stay on the current application?
It's annoying because if I start something on youtube, and then plug in the speakers, it will auto switch to the music player.

1. No sorry. Why would you want it to stay in a different application if you put it in a dock? When you put it in a dock you can always hit the home button then go back to the application you were in.
2. nah...i hate that 2. its just the application..its like plugging in ur ipod to ur computer and stop the "Syncing" lock screen to come up...it might be out with later versions..just check itunes for the latest version and make sure ur on it
