Do you need internet connection for the Apple iPod Touch to play YouTube videos?

So when you are away from your wireless router, does YouTube & the internet still work on the Apple iPod Touch?

2. Yes. If you want to play video on iPod Touch without internet. You can download and convert the youtube video to mp4 video, then you can sync it to your iPod Touch through iTunes, if you don't know how to do that, you may take a look at this step by step guide
