Can i synchronize my Apple Ipod which already has heaps of?

music on it to a freshly downloaded itunes library??

So, i've been given an apple ipod for xmas already loaded with music, so can i simply plug it into itunes on my computer and the itunes will store all those tunes into it's library??

1. No, iTunes can not transfer music files from an iPod to a computer, only the other way around. Fortunately there are other free programs that can do this job, I know of three:
