how do you add tracks to a ipod nano without the apple ipod web site?

I have a apple nano, i want to transfer some songs from my CDs, to my ipod, is it possible, or do i have to download the apple ipod manager and buy my cd again?

1. Just go to the Apple website it's a free download.
2. You need to download iTunes from http://www.apple.com
3. you need to download itunes. then you can put your cds in the computer and click import and it will rip them into itunes, and then you can transfer them to your ipod. its pretty simple and free.
4. based from what i know, when you insert the cd into your computer and your itunes is open...itunes can detect it and can play the cd. from that, you can import, the songs from the cd to itunes...
