do I have to pay customs fees if I buy an apple ipod from the UK, on ebay?

I bought a book on ebay last month, it was shipped from the US and I didn't have to pay any customs, so I'm wondering if it would be the same if I buy an apple ipod, BTW I live in Egypt.

2. All taxes are inclusive including the shipping charges on the prices mentioned at e-bay. No need to pay additonal customs duties.
3. Ask the sender to mark the item as a gift!
